The Sales Director will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and increasing market share by leading and overseeing all sales operations. This position calls for a visionary leader with a proven track record of managing and inspiring high-performing sales teams. The Sales Director will craft and execute strategic sales initiatives that align with the company’s overall business goals. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is integral to shaping the company’s success and market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy
Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive growth.
Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, setting goals and providing support.
Analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities.
Build strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Monitor sales performance and report to senior leadership.
Strategic Planning
Contribute to overall business strategy as part of the senior leadership team.
Identify market opportunities and create long-term plans to expand market share.
Adapt strategies to changing market conditions and business performance.
Stakeholder Management
Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Oversee key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
Represent the company at industry events and communicate its vision.
Budget & Resources
Manage the sales budget, optimizing resources to achieve objectives.
Streamline sales processes and tools to improve efficiency and results.
What are we looking for?
10+ years of sales experience, including a proven track record in sales leadership or senior management roles
A dedicated focus on enriching customer interactions and fostering long-term relationships, with deep insight into customer needs and expectations within the FMCG sector.
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Strong analytical skills and experience with sales performance metrics and reporting
proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies
Experience in the FMCG and Foods sector is preferred
